as salam alaikum. this daily wird, The Cane of Wisdom, should be recited once a day by all Murid disciples in the west. it should be recited with the pure intention of offering it as (adiyah) a gift to Prophet Muhammad- peace be upon Him, Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba, Cheikh Ibra Fall, Serigne Fallou, Serigne Saliou, Cheikh Betcio and Cheikh Ndegul Fall. If you are a murid in another tariqat please recite this as a gift to your cheikh.* if your parents are deceased, recite this as a gift to their departed souls !
